Hello friends, I have missed you all deeply. Moving to a new state has caused me to heavily lose track of time and when my last blog post was. Going to keep today very simple and write about things I have been loving/things I have been finding comfort in as the seasons begin to change!
Let's start off super basic with.... *drumroll please*
1. Cold Brew with Pumpkin Spice Creamer.
I've never been a huge cold brew girl so this is a little odd for me, but for some reason living down south, it just hits the spot. Likely due to it being October and 80 degrees still. In terms of creamer, I specifically have been loving a splash of the silk almond milk pumpkin spice creamer; not sponsored just a huge fan. Genuinely have been waking up excited to drink my cute little cold brew every-morning on my balcony, it's just such a mood booster.
2. Knitting
Another grandma moment over here, but knitting has been so calming. I finished my second scarf a few weeks ago and am now currently working on a beanie. There is nothing better than seeing your work physically come together. (Especially for those of us who are unable to paint or draw well).
3. (Also very unoriginal of me) is Hot Girl Walks
What defines a hot girl walk? Two things; 1. You. 2. Walking. With Alabama having warmer temps for the fall, going on hot girl walks throughout October with shorts and a t- shirt has been a huge mood booster. Although I do miss the fall and cider mill donuts heavily, especially because I'm someone who enjoys the colder weather, but that's besides the point.
4. Reading Novels
I felt like it was best to specify novels here because I am not currently loving reading through chapters of homework, but as someone who adores reading during all times of the year, the fall is always such a good season to get into reading because you can cozy up, drink a nice coffee, and read a good book. Current favorites/recommendations specifically include The Hawthorne Legacy series. All the books. They're so entertaining and good. That's pretty much it off the top of my head, I hope you all enjoyed a little bit - will be back and posting more and more now that I'm in a routine here :-)
